Community

Current Project

We have committed ourselves to support PCF (Philippine Community Fund)  and to build a relationship with them, as well as fundraising for their work. Please do take a look at their website: http://www.p-c-f.org/ to find out more about life for the poorest families in Manila, those living on dumpsites and in cemetries, and the work that PCF is doing to provide a pathway out of poverty.

Downton Churches Together

We are committed to removing those all too familiar barriers between churches. It’s so much better when we are traveling together.

Therefore, we seek to work closely with local churches and together we offer a variety of ecumenical services. We share the Good Friday march of witness, the Cuckoo Fair service, the village carol service and a Songs of Praise service, as well as other informal occasions for a good meal and worship.

We believe that churches work best together when they are working to serve the community and so together we are also committed to running and supporting the village youth work.

Paul and Abbie Brooks in Taiwan

Our link with local communities is very important to us. But we live in a wide world. We are delighted to offer support and prayer to Paul and Abbie Brooks, who have moved to Taiwan. Do get in touch if you would like more information on their life and mission in Taiwan or would like to receive their regular newsletters..

Other members of our fellowship use their skills, time, and enthusiasm, to share God's love and care with others around the world in short term projects. We are blessed to be able to send them out with a prayer and hear their news when they return.
